Ms. Cote is a wife, a mother, a mentor, a leader – and an amazing teacher. She taught in public school for twenty years before joining the Winchendon team six years ago. She enjoys reading, watching sports, baking, and spending time with her family. She is known for some pretty special football watch parties, and can often be found surrounded by a group of students when study hall duties intersect with a good game. Rumor has it that she is helping them understand the statistics of sports! Ms. Cote is always there for the students, whether mentoring student government, fostering a really engaging discussion on literature or some issue, helping organize student events, advising the yearbook squad, or just being that caring listener when that is what someone needs.
Person that she would most like to meet: Anne Rice, author of Interview With A Vampire and the series that this book spawned.
Songs That Get Ms. Cote’s Day Off To A Good Start: “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor, “Livin’ on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi, or “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” by Cindi Lauper.

“Bucket List” Trip: Greece, Rome, and Egypt – especially to see the ancient ruins and “touch the place that I read and teach about most frequently.”
