Summer Program: Study English Language, Practice for TOEFL, and Visit American Colleges
Online, On-Campus, or Both.
July 15th - 29th
The Winchendon Summer English Online course is purposely designed as a precursor to the Schools’ on-campus program for those students looking to earn one ESL credit. The online course offers individualized learning plans based on a Duolingo placement test. Students from beginner to advanced levels of English will benefit from this class.
Upon successful completion of the online and on-campus portions of the class, students will earn credit from The Winchendon School for one ESL class.
July 31st - August 23rd
The Winchendon Summer School Program will build your English language skills through weekday classes and weekend cultural excursion activities. While at Winchendon, you will live in a dorm with other high school students. Afternoon and weekend trips include visits to local colleges and universities, museums, and recreational sites where you will become more fully acquainted with American culture and the American college process while developing the confidence to use your improved English language skills.
On-campus we offer a one to three week(s) program with a certificate of completion.
The Summer English curriculum is designed to strengthen your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in a small, personalized classroom environment. Our teachers utilize interactive and engaging in-class activities to help you build your English skills.
