The Winchendon School’s production of “As You Like It,” recorded on Zoom in three different countries and as many time zones, premiered on YouTube. Directors Elizabeth Peterson and Claire Parker said they were incredibly proud of the resilience shown by the cast, who volunteered to continue working on the show even when we couldn’t come back to campus.
We know of no other high school production of any Shakespeare play produced while social distancing. While other schools may have needed to cancel their Spring productions, The Winchendon School faculty and students found ways to adapt and work collaboratively using today’s technology.
