At The Winchendon School, students such as Sophie J. ’18 are able to build upon their passions. A Nerf aficionado, Sophie found a curriculum at The Winchendon School which supported her outside interests. While here, Sophie attended the New York Toy Show as a special representative of Hasbro. What many of her friends on campus didn’t know, was Sophie was suffering from anxiety. At the 2018 Baccalaureate celebration, Sophie was the student speaker. Nominated by her peers, she told a riveting story of learning to work through anxiety.
