- From California, Justin traveled away from home to an unfamiliar place. He claims that the adjustment to Winchendon at first was a challenge; however, with the welcoming and friendly environment, he quickly found his new home!
- Justin also found comfort in the relationships that he was able to create with his teachers, such as Mr. Draugsvold. He says that Mr. Draugsvold’s class was informative, but also taught him many valuable life lessons.
- Serving as a member of the Boys’ Prep Basketball Team, Justin and his teammates spent time bonding during their 6am conditioning workouts. He mentioned that his teammate quickly became family to him, on and off the basketball court.
