Bright enough to get into some of the New York City’s top schools, but not well engaged and increasingly frustrated at those schools, Hamza found at Winchendon a place where he could connect, get back on track, and flourish.
- Hamza was a Co-President of the Student Body, founding member of the School, and the School’s first recipient of the Hatch Scholarship, awarded to the student that has shown significant growth.
- Hamza found the learning strategies program to be a wonderful fit for him and his academic needs. He felt that with the smaller classes, he was able to retain a better understanding of the material.
