Don’t Let COVID 19 Disrupt High School Success
High Contact Learning.
Don’t let this current pandemic disrupt your high school education – you can come out on top, and have a good time being successful.
At The Winchendon School, classes incorporate the following in order to ensure student success:
- More personalized support- multiple times a week
- More interesting learning – in ways that make each class more interesting and meaningful to each student
- The development of the most important skills and habits – organization, self-advocacy, academic confidence – through a brain-based approach to learning.
- Real time self-reflection and feedback to ensure better results
She has even reported to me, as her grades improved, that she “really likes trying harder and getting better grades, it feels really good.

Increased Opportunities For Every Student
Study What Makes You Curious
Study the American Revolution in the heart of Massachusetts or street art in New York City, at The Winchendon School we see education as active not passive. Our classes are engaged where students lead discussions, debate questions, and draw their own conclusions.
See our full range of courses. Review our Curriculum Guide.
Unlimited Electives
Each year every student has the opportunity to take an idea and design an internship or independent study during ColLAB.
Your elective choices are only limited by your curiosity.
Activities
We also encourage students to pursue their passions, on-campus, and off. We offer a wide range of clubs such as Model United Nations, e-Sports, Chess, Tabletop Gaming, A-Capella, HIIT, Dance, and you can even create your own! Our students are found to participate in pick up sports games or continue to participate in their sport outside of the school, whether that be soccer, fencing, or ice dancing.
