The breadth of Hannah’s teaching experience is pretty amazing when you factor that she is only in her twenties. She has been a private math tutor, math coach for low-income high school students, an English teacher for Korean ESL students, supervisor/tutor at Tufts Children’s Hospital, a volunteer at the Wheat Mission Worldwide Summer Camp (working with mentally challenged campers), a Bible Study teacher and group leader, and, last but not least, a Japanese tutor at Wellesley College. Along the way she acquired her Yorkie, Charles, whom, without bias, she describes as “the cutest puppy in the world.”
- Favorite Winchendon event: Lantern floating for sure! It was very pretty and it was just like the movie Tangled.
- Which Winchendon class or ColLAB would you most like to take: I would love to take Ms. Byrne’s vocal class because I love singing. For a ColLAB, I want to take Jurassic Park in Winchendon’s Back Yard: Paleontology in Action, since I love dinosaurs and Jurassic Park!
- Globetrotting adventure: Mission trip to Peru
- Superpower of choice: I want teleportation so that I can travel around the world any time.
