Coach Leonard knows basketball. And he knows Coach Kehoe having played for him during his own prep school career. After prep school, Coach Leonard went on to play at New England College in New Hampshire where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from New England College.
Coach Bio:
Ricky earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from New England College in the spring of 2019. Ricky was a four-year starter, a three-year captain, and a two-time, first-team all-conference selection, as a member of the NEC men’s basketball team. As a junior, Ricky led the Pilgrims to the 2018 North Atlantic Conference Tournament Men’s Basketball Championship; and he was selected as the Most Valuable Player of the Conference Tournament. The 2017-18 men’s basketball season marked the first conference championship in school history and it also resulted in the program’s first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Tournament. Ricky Leonard completed his career as the 6th all-time leading scorer in program history: completing his career with 1,544 points.
