Originally a sixth grade humanities teacher, Katherine has worked in nearly every sector of independent school education. Prior to moving to Winchendon, Katherine was the Director of Development and Dean of Faculty and Staff at The East Harlem School in New York City. Katherine now lives on campus with her husband Sean, and their two sons, Jack and Peter.
In addition to her work at Winchendon, Katherine serves as a creative and educational consultant to two organizations that are near and dear to her heart: The Hockey Think Tank and Storyshares. She also volunteers for Middlebury College as an admissions representative on behalf of The Bread Loaf School of English, Middlebury’s low residency graduate school program from which Katherine received a Masters degree in English. Bread Loaf holds an extra special place in the Duncans’ hearts as it is where Sean and Katherine met!
