Recently, we sat down with Coach Toffey and spoke about the just-completed Baseball season. With over 50 players moving on to play in college since 2019, Coach Toffey has incredible insight into what it takes to play at the next level.
“The baseball team enjoyed an outstanding 2022 season. The team finished with an overall record of 27-8 including 10 games in Florida. Highlights of the season included games at Polar Park, Dodd Stadium, the New England Baseball Complex, and our spring trip to Florida. The team developed lifelong friendships and enjoyed spending significant time together. We are so proud of how well this group of students represented our school. I am very excited to follow the careers of our 16 baseball players who are moving on to play college baseball and know that the time at Winchendon prepared them very well for the demands of being a student-athlete in college. Congratulations to the 2022 baseball team on an excellent year. “
