At The Winchendon School, we draw our population from across the world and close to campus as well. We recognize the need to make TWS an open, safe, and welcoming community, ensuring all voices are heard and respected. It is in this way, our community grows stronger. With purpose in our work, we promote the enrichment of our School culture through discussions, events, and student-led initiatives.
DEIJ Week
By design, a Winchendon School education creates meaningful connections and purpose in all we do. Our core values form the foundation of our work. Through our signature programming, students at The Winchendon School are asked uncomfortable questions in order to become better critical thinkers.
Each year, students build to create Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice Week, providing opportunities for exploration and reflection.
Students study, then guide and provide opportunities for learning for the rest of the School and the greater community.
Student and Family Resources
We believe everyone deserves a seat at the table. When we don’t get it right, students, families, faculty, and staff can reach out to the Head of School or Dean of Students directly. We also made an anonymous form available. Tell us what happened.
WACA
WACA was founded by Allesandra Adams ’19 and Linet Cardoso ’20 to serve as mentors to students, family, and alumni of color.
Allyship Resources
Resources for students, family, and friends to be can be used in conjunction with our Impact Learning resources.

Affinity Groups and Clubs
Affinity groups on campus are student led with a faculty member to help guide. They allow students who share a common interest or purpose to come together on a regular basis to discuss and explore the issues that matter to them.

- White European Heritage
Off-Campus Opportunities
Students are open to participating in local off-campus events including:
- Student Leadership Conferences
