As a school, we understand and appreciate the financial commitment families make when deciding to enroll their child(ren) at Winchendon.
We are excited to announce that The Winchendon School has chosen Clarity as our new Financial Aid application platform. Our goal is to make the application process easier for your family while maintaining our same high standards for financial aid consideration.
The Clarity application can be completed in less time (20-30 minutes), and can even pull verified tax documents directly from the IRS. If you have already completed the SSS form for this year, please know we still have access, so you do not have to resubmit.
- All families, both domestic and international, are encouraged to create an account. Clarity will collect information on each biological parent or legal guardian for a student – but only one account is needed for each household.
- After completing the application, you will be notified via email of any supplemental documents that you will need to upload. If you are an international applicant family or did not file US taxes last year, you will be able to indicate that on the application form, and supplemental documents will be requested.
Each year The Winchendon School awards financial aid to students based on financial need. When applying for financial aid, through Clarity, it removes the need to upload your 2022 W2 and 1040 by transferring them directly from the IRS. This reduces the amount of information that you will need to enter manually and makes it possible to complete the application quickly and efficiently. The only manual upload will be for your 2023 W2 or 1040. Please make note of the January 30th deadline to complete the application, with the additional submission of your 2023 documents by February 15th.
