BVB Tops Worcester

In the first game of a boys’ basketball double header the Varsity Wapiti were able to take care of business decisively defeating Worcester Academy 68-42. The boys turned it up on the defensive end yet again forcing more than 30 turnovers for the game and nearly doubling up their opponent on the glass. Offensively, everyone was able to contribute as we had 4 guys in double figures and nine guys in the scoring column for the game. Tate Niemela ’20 socred 14 followed by Cam Taubert ’20 with 12 and Jay Belliveau-Ryan ’20 and Sam O’Toole ’22 with 10 points each. Tyler Biron ’23 also knocked down a big three pointer and came up with a couple big steals on the defensive end. We take on Hebron Saturday in Winchendon.
