Our summer session is a blend of academics and fun, rigor and joy, TOEFL training and the All-American Summer. Study habits and skills, organization and accountability are a daily focus. Each week has an academic theme (American History, Food, and Culture in the USA, All American Sports, Americana Music, and Film, etc). The theme will be woven into the classroom instruction and be the content basis for the four domains of language acquisition: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The weekly theme will also be explored through the various field trips taken throughout the academic week. Academic field trips have included such destinations as Harvard University, The Peabody Museum, The Emily Dickinson Museum, The Freedom Trail, The New England Aquarium, Boston College, and The Museum of Fine Arts. On the weekends the trips are less academic, more fun. In the past, they have included: Six Flags, the Beach, Down Town Boston, Crazy Golf, Laser Tag, Go Karts, Bowling, and Shopping Malls.
