While other schools celebrated one or two, or perhaps as many as four student-athletes signing their national letter(s) of intent to play, on Monday, November 14, The Winchendon School had 10 students to celebrate.
Assistant Head of School for Enrollment, Strategy, and Athletics, John Toffey led off the ceremony with remarks to the parents, grandparents, families, and teammates of the seniors signing letters. In his remarks, he noted how The Winchendon School has sent over 60 students in the past four years to play at the next level and congratulated each student on their academic and athletic careers.
The students who signed this fall are:
- Ryan Buckler: Virginia Tech
- Nicholas Calvanese: American International College
- Nicholas Famiglietti: Southern Maine University
- Alex Marot: West Virginia
- Daniel Rice: Sacred Heart University
- Will Robbins: Southern New Hampshire University
- Thomas Rupp: Limestone University
- Dimitiri Skourides: Brandeis University
- Summer Carpenter: Delaware State University
- John Creveling: Rhodes College
Congratulations, Wapiti!
