James Harrington ‘09

Boston College, BA, MA, 2015
APPOINTED: 2015

Humanities, Outdoor Basketball, Skiing & Snowboarding, Lacrosse.

The Winchendon School is in James’ DNA ; his family’s connections to The Winchendon School began with his grandparents who were faculty members. And, no surprise he is a Winchendon School graduate. “I haven’t seen anywhere else where the people make as much of a difference with the kids they teach than the Winch. My family has former students who tell us, thirty years later, about how my grandfather changed their life. If I can have a positive influence like he did, or like my teachers and coaches did with me, then I consider my life worthwhile in a fundamental way.” Off hours you might find James playing a mean tin whistle, trumpet, and a bit of trombone in Slainte, a local band.
